Tatiana Argüello is the President and General Manager of Telemundo Denver / KDEN, the NBCUniversal-owned television station that serves Spanish-speaking audiences in Denver and throughout Colorado. In this role, Argüello will manage all of KDEN’s operations including news/digital, sales, marketing/promotions, human resources, community affairs, and technology/operations.
With nearly two decades of experience in local broadcast, digital, and integrated sales and marketing, Argüello returns to Telemundo Denver after launching her career in local broadcast at KDEN as an intern in 2001. She joins KDEN after holding various leadership roles in broadcast sales for the NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations’ division, the Telemundo Station Group, and Telemundo 47 / WNJU, Telemundo’s East coast flagship television station.
At NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations, Argüello was the Director of Local and Regional Sales for the division and was responsible for leading regional multicultural sales efforts for Publicis, WPP, and Omnicom. Before this, she worked as the Telemundo Station Group’s Northeast National Sales Director for five years, and managed all northeast national sales operations for the Telemundo owned and affiliate stations, developed new business and created cross-cultural marketing campaigns that helped to grow the station group’s advertising revenue. Prior to this, Argüello worked as National Sales Manager for Telemundo 47 from 2008 to 2014. Argüello moved to New York after working at KDEN from 2001 to 2008 and holding various roles with increasing responsibility including National Sales Manager for the station.
A Colorado native, Argüello earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Operations Management and a Certificate in International Business from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business. She resides in Denver with her husband and two young children.
