Scott Evans serves as the New York correspondent for the nationally syndicated, Emmy® nominated, daily entertainment news program, "Access Hollywood." Since joining “Access Hollywood” in May 2015, Evans has covered major entertainment events and red-carpets in both Los Angeles and New York and interviewed some of Hollywood’s biggest names including Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey and Will Smith.
“Access Hollywood” currently in its 21st season, continues to deliver the biggest entertainment news stories and moments in a fresh, hip and fun-to-watch style year after year. “Access Hollywood” offers exclusive in-depth celebrity interviews and behind the scenes accounts of the most exciting events in Hollywood to its viewers on a daily basis. Evans began his entertainment career as the youngest person ever to host/MC the NBA’s Indiana Pacers and the WNBA’s Indiana Fever home games. Evans went on to serve as a reporter for WISH-TV 8 in Indiana covering events such as the Grammys and sporting events including the Indy 500, and Butler Basketball games. It was Evans’ unique reporting style that eventually brought him to Los Angeles for “One Minute News” and then led him to New York where he became an anchor for Channel One News, a national news show.
Evans attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Evans started a youth development Non-profit in Indianapolis, and remains active in New York with many different youth charities such as 18 for 18 and Catch The Stars Foundation.
