Mexican actor and producer Luis Ernesto Franco has starred in numerous telenovelas in Mexico, among them “Campeones de la vida,” “Secretos del alma,” “Soñarás,” “A corazón abierto” and “Secretos de familia.” We have seen him on Telemundo before in productions such as “Sinvergüenza,” “Camelia la Texana” and “Bajo el mismo cielo,” in which he played the role of “El Faier.”

Franco has also appeared on the big screen in films such as “Los inadaptados,” “Colosio: el asesinato,” “Amar,” “2033,” “Tlatelolco,” “No sé si cortarme las venas o dejármelas largas,” “Obediencia perfecta” and “El cumple de la abuela,” which was produced by the company he co-founded, Los Güeros Films.

Franco is also an accomplished stage actor, known for his roles in “Te odio,” by Ximena Escalante; “Sicario,” by Felipe Fernández del Paso; “Fresas en Invierno,” directed by Raúl Quintanilla; “22:22,” by Odin Dupeyron; and, most recently, “Extraños en un tren,” based on the Alfred Hitchcock film “Strangers on a Train.”

In 2016, Franco joined the cast of the Super Series “Señora Acero 3, La Coyote” in the role of Daniel Phillips.  We’ll see him again in 2017 in “Señora Acero, La Coyote.”
