El Patas, "Mi Familia Perfecta"

Jorge Luis Moreno was born is Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. He studied acting at the Centro de Formación de Actores para la Televisión (CEFAC) and TV Azteca, which started his career in productions like “La Vida Es Una Canción” (2004). 

Since then, film has been one of his priorities. Feature films like “Cuatro Lunas” (2014) by Sergio Tovar Velarde, “Cristiada” (2012) with Andy Garcia, Eva Longoria and Peter O’Toole, and “El Estudiante” (2009) by Roberto Girault reaffirm Moreno’s prolific career on the big screen. 

Additionally, he has also performed in productions such as: “Niñas Mal” (2007) with Martha Higareda, “Déficit” (2007) directed by Gael García Bernal, “Contratiempo” (2011) by Ramiro Medina Flores and “Ella y el Candidato” (2011) by Roberto Girault. 

He explored comedy with his role in “Me Late Chocolate” (2013) with Karla Souza and Osvaldo Benavides, drama in “Cinco de Mayo: La Batalla” (2013) by Rafa Lara, “Bestia de Cardo” (2015) by Virginia Sanchez Navarro and “Desde el Más Allá” (2015) by Juan Carlos Blanco. He also starred in “Ladronas de Almas” (2015) directed by Juan Antonio de La Riva and “Cygnus” by Hugo Félix Mercado. 

Jorge Luis Moreno also stepped on the theatrical stage with the play “Una Larga Cena de Navidad” (2010) under the direction of Otto Minera. He also starred in “El Laberinto,” “La Mujer No Hace Milagros,” “Tertulias Teatrales,” and “Miss Consuelo.” In 2016, he participated in the production “Deshonra.”

In television, Jorge Luis Moreno has participated in successful series like Telemundo’s award-winning Super Series™ “El Señor de los Cielos” (seasons 3, 4 & 5), “Los Minodo,” “Las Aparicio,” as well as “Niñas Mal 2” for MTV.

Moreno will star as “El Patas” in “Mi Familia Perfecta,” which premieres on Monday, April 9th at 8pm/7c on Telemundo.
