D’Arcy Carden stars as Janet in NBC’s comedy “The Good Place.”
Carden can also be seen in the HBO comedy series, “Barry,” from Alec Berg and Bill Hader. Her additional television credits include a multitude of critically acclaimed series, including Comedy Central’s “Broad City,” Emmy Award-winning variety series “Inside Amy Schumer,” HBO’s Emmy-winning comedy “Veep,” IFC’s “Comedy Bang Bang” and CW’s “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.”
On the big screen, Carden was seen in Chris Kelly’s “Other People,” which premiered in competition at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
In addition to her work on screen, Carden is a longtime member of the Upright Citizens Brigade where she regularly performs with her improv group, Search History, and in UCB’s longest running show, “Asssscat.”
In her spare time, Carden plays basketball on the Lucille Ballers and has seen One Direction in concert about seven times. For real.
Originally from the Bay Area and a graduate of Southern Oregon University, Carden currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Jason, and dog, Penny.
