Growing up, Ana Lucía Domínguez dreamed of being an artist like Margarita Rosa de Francisco in the role of Gaviota in “Café con aroma de mujer”: a multi-talented actress, singer and television news anchor.
Domínguez began her television career in commercials at the age of nine. Her first role in telenovelas was in "Padres e hijos," followed by "De pies a cabeza" and "Conjunto cerrado." Her first major role was in the series "Hermosa niña."
After a stint as a host on "Los ángeles de la Mega," Domínguez made her international telenovela debut in “Gata salvaje,” going on to gain acclaim in “Pasión de gavilanes.”
Domínguez joined Telemundo in 2009 as one of the stars in the telenovela “Perro amor,” which showcased her singing talent. Also in 2009, she participated in the Colombian series "El fantasma del Gran Hotel" and the RCN telenovela "La Traicionera."
In 2015, she joined the cast of the second season of Telemundo’s Super Series “Señora Acero” as “La Tuti,” a role she will reprise in 2017 in the new season “Señora Acero, La Coyote.”
