Brazil’s 2-1 Win over Mexico Delivered an Average of 1.45 Million Total Viewers

The Tournament Averaged 428,000 Total Viewers on Telemundo, Posting a 172% Increase over the 2017 Tournament

Miami – November 20, 2019 – Telemundo Deportes’ coverage of the FIFA U-17 World Cup final featuring Mexico against Brazil scored an average of 1.45 million total viewers and 737,000 adults 18-49, ranking as the most-watched sporting event of the weekend in Spanish-language media.

Brazil’s 2-1 win over Mexico delivered 4X more viewers than the finals from 2015 and 2017 tournaments that averaged 370,000 total viewers and 304,000 total viewers, respectively.

The tournament averaged 428,000 total viewers on Telemundo, posting a 172% increase over the 2017 tournament. The matches on Universo averaged 57,000 total viewers, a 470% increase over 2017.
