TELEMUNDO’S HIT REALITY “EXATLON” PREMIERE RANKS AS #1 SPANISH-LANGUAGE SHOW ACROSS ALL KEY DEMOS IN ITS TIMESLOT

The Two-Hour Premiere Episode Outperformed Univision from 7pm to 9pm By 25% Among Adults 18-49, 10% in Adults 18-34 and 4% in Total Viewers

MIAMI – August 20, 2019 – The premiere of the third season of Telemundo’s reality competition “Exatlon” ranked as the # 1 Spanish-language program in its 7pm to 9pm timeslot, among adults 18-49, 18-34 and in total viewers, according to Nielsen. Hosted by sports commentator, Erasmo Provenza, the family-friendly show averaged 598,000 adults 18-49, 240,000 adults 18-34, and over 1.3 million in total viewers last night, outperforming Univision by +25%, +10% and +4% among all three demos, respectively.

According to Nielsen Social, “Exatlon” also ranked as the #2 most social Hispanic primetime series on premiere night, only ranking behind the network’s own “El Final del Paraiso” with over 50,000 total interactions across all social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The intense and entertaining family-friendly program seeks to find the participant with the strongest physical and mental skills using a series of obstacle courses and extreme life conditions set in total isolation from the rest of the world. The winner will receive a US $200,000 grand prize. The anticipated return of “Exatlon” takes place in a new location with more challenging parkour courses and an impressive and multidisciplinary roster of participants, including a NFL player, an American Ninja Warrior, a bull-rider, a cop and gymnasts, among others.

Additionally, renown model, host and influencer, Jessica Cediel, joins the family-friendly show as the official on-site reporter to offer the audience exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the contestants and the competition.
