TELEMUNDO’S FINALE OF “EXATLON ESTADOS UNIDOS” DOMINATES SUNDAY PRIME ON SPANISH-LANGUAGE TELEVISION

The Three-hour Finale Event leads Telemundo to Out-perform Univision by +40%

The Finale was the Most Social Primetime Program Among Spanish-Language Networks

MIAMI – May 14, 2019 – The grand finale of Telemundo’s Exatlón Estados Unidos ranked as the highest-rated Sunday night show on Spanish-language television among adults 18-49 with an average of 647,000 and over 1.4 million total viewers, according to Nielsen. The three-hour finale, which crowned Puerto Rican Valeria Sofia Rodriguez as the winner of the second season of the hit competition show, led Telemundo to rank as the number one Spanish-language network of all Sunday primetime among adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and total viewers, outperforming Univision by more than 40% among adults 18-49. In addition, Telemundo ranked as the most watched broadcast network among adults 18-34 regardless of language, surpassing English broadcast networks CBS, NBC, and Fox during the timeslot.

During its final week, Exatlón Estados Unidos generated more than 1.3M total actions across social media platforms, according to Shareablee.
