MIAMI –December 1, 2017- “Enfoque con José Díaz-Balart” analyzes the week’s top news this Sunday, December 3 at a special time, 2 PM/1 PM ET. We will speak with Congressman Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL), who has devoted his career to defending the rights of immigrants, about his decision not to run for reelection. Noticias Telemundo Mexico correspondent Raúl Torres will present a report about the violence in Chilapas, a town in the state of Guerrero under siege by drug traffickers. Édgar Muñoz, who serves as Noticias Telemundo’s correspondent in Los Angeles, will discuss his investigative report for “Noticias Telemundo Investiga” about the phenomenon of “Los Nadien,” the approximately 200,000 immigrants of Mexican origin in this country who have neither Mexican nor US citizenship. Acclaimed actor and television host Jaime Camil will describe a new project designed to keep Spanish alive among Latino children. And, on “Nuestra Gente Extraordinaria,” we’ll meet Helen Hernández, president and founder of the Imagen Foundation, an organization that offers advice and services for Latinos in search of work.
