Well-known Mexican Radio and TV Personality Moves from Los Angeles to Miami to Co-host Alongside her New Colleagues Rashel Díaz, Marco Antonio Regil, Adamari López and Hector Sandarti

MIAMI, March 4, 2019 – Stephanie Himonidis, also known as "Chiquibaby,” will join Telemundo’s Un Nuevo Día to co-host the award-winning show alongside Rashel Díaz, Marco Antonio Regil, Adamari López and Hector Sandarti beginning on Monday, March 18th. The versatile and dynamic Mexican TV and radio personality, moves from Los Angeles to Miami after co-hosting Acceso Total, to bring viewers, from coast-to-coast, entertainment news, headlines of the day, interviews with special guests and music stars, exclusives and surprises every morning from Monday to Friday at 7-10:30am/6-9:30 CT.

Himonidis is currently the co-host of KVEA Telemundo 52’s Acceso Total, a popular weekday morning entertainment news and lifestyle program which airs in multiple markets. The Emmy award-winning TV personality has previously appeared as a guest co-host on Un Nuevo Dia, and had a key role in the program’s coverage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ in Russia. Himonidis has also served as guest co-host of the network’s daytime entertainment news program, Suelta la Sopa.

In addition to her work on television, Himonidis is the host and executive producer of El Show de la Chiquibaby, a syndicated radio program broadcasting nationwide in more than 50 U.S. markets. After nearly two decades of success in media, she is also recognized as an influential communicator in the U.S., with almost 1 million social media followers.

Himonidis began her career at the age of 19 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Her natural talent was immediately recognized and shortly after that became the voice of Súper Stereo, a popular radio station in Guadalajara. In 2001, she relocated to the U.S. where she worked for CBS Radio and participated in television shows. In 2014, she joined Telemundo as a judge of the Sunday night reality competition show Yo Soy El Artista.

Himonidis serves as an ambassador for PADRES Contra el Cancer, a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for children with cancer and their families.

Winner of three national Emmy Awards for Best Spanish-language Morning Show, Telemundo’s Un Nuevo Día, hosted by Rashel Diaz, Marco Antonio Regil, Adamari López, Hector Sandarti and soon Stephanie Himonidis "Chiquibaby," airs Monday through Friday at 7-10:30am/6-9:30 CT.
