MIAMI – OCTOBER 25, 2018 - Noticias Telemundo launched “Nuestro Futuro Latino,” its coverage of the upcoming legislative and state elections, with a forum on Telemundo’s morning show, “Un Nuevo Día,” Tuesday, October 30 at 8 AM/7 C.

Noticias Telemundo nightly newscast anchor José Díaz-Balart (above right) and the presenter of the “Un Nuevo Día” news segment, Paulina Sodi (above left), moderated an expert conversation about the impact of the elections on the Latino community and country as a whole.

Clarissa Martínez, Vice President of UnidosUS; Daniel Garza of The LIBRE Initiative; Angélica Salas of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA); and Juan Escalante of America’s Voice were among the experts who analyzed different political scenarios surrounding the elections and their possible impact on the Latino population.

“Nuestro Futuro Latino” will offer special programming on the road to the elections as well as complete coverage on Election Day, November 6, featuring expert analysis, voter testimonies, exit poll results, opinion studies, social media trends and original digital content. The historic coverage effort, which will include dozens of Noticias Telemundo correspondents and presenters across the length and breadth of the country, will be produced in collaboration with Telemundo Station Group and NBC News, the country’s # 1 news organization.
