Miami -May 31, 2018- Noticias Telemundo presents “Llegó la hora con Lydia Cacho," the first of two specials moderated by Mexican investigative reporter Lydia Cacho about machismo and harassment in Latin culture, this Sunday, June 3 at 5PM/4 C on Telemundo. Actresses Kate del Castillo and Natalia Córdova-Buckley, activist Mónica Ramírez and actor Víctor Rivers will share their experiences and opinions about the role of Latin women in a frank conversation directly from Los Angeles.

“Actresses, farmworkers, housewives, journalists, domestic workers, members of Congress, professors, athletes, models: Whatever their profession, 84% of women report feeling sexually harassed,” Lydia Cacho said. “To discuss why machismo and chauvinism are so harmful, we’ve invited well-known figures in society – both men and women – to join the conversation. We need to talk about what comes after #MeToo and #Timesup, what men and women can do to work together for equality and create a space to look ahead to the future.”

On “Llegó La hora con Lydia Cacho” we'll start the discussion with the experiences of Kate del Castillo, Natalia Córdova-Buckley and Víctor Rivers in the world of show business and go on to explore the impact of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements in the Hispanic community in general. In addition, activist Mónica Ramírez will talk about her work to end gender violence and promote equality of the sexes in Latin culture. The program is part of a series of specials produced by Noticias Telemundo under the banner “Las Cosas Como Son” (The Way It Is.)
