NBC SPORTS PRESENTS LIVE COVERAGE OF IAAF WORLD CHALLENGE SERIES FROM CZECH REPUBLIC TODAY AT 1 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Five-Time Olympic Medalist Justin Gatlin & Olympic Gold Medalist Ryan Crouser Headline Coverage of the Ostrava Golden Spike

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 13, 2017 – Five-time Olympic medalist Justin Gatlin and Olympic shot put gold medalist Ryan Crouser headline NBC Sports’ live coverage of the IAAF World Challenge series from Ostrava, Czech Republic, today at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN, marking NBC Sports’ first telecast of the event. Coverage on NBCSN will be streamed via authentication on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

Established in 2010, the IAAF World Challenge series is an annual global circuit of one-day track and field competitions. The Ostrava Golden Spike is the fifth stop of the series, and is headlined by Gatlin, Crouser, 2017 pole vault world champion Sam Kendricks and two-time reigning Olympic triple jump champion Christian Taylor, who will be competing in the 400m.

Paul Swangard (play-by-play) handles the call, joined by four-time Olympic medalist Ato Boldon (analyst) and Josh Cox (analyst).
