NEW YORK – November 12, 2019 – Today, NBC News Learn launched the third installment of “Discovering You: Engineering Your World,” an original video series celebrating the careers of engineers who are inspiring the next generation and using their skills to give back to their communities. NBC News Learn, the education division of NBC News, produced the 30-part series in collaboration with Chevron, the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), and the National Science Foundation (NSF).

The new 10-part series showcases what motivates a diverse group of engineers to utilize the skills they’ve learned to make a difference in the world around them, especially their local communities. Aligned to state and national education standards, each video is produced with tailored lesson plans for educators to use in the classroom.
