Brzezinski Will Also Interview the Decorated U.S. Women’s Ice Hockey Team Members for

NEW YORK, NY April 10, 2018 – Today on Equal Pay Day, Mika Brzezinski, founder of “Know Your Value” and co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” announced a multi-platform partnership, in conjunction with Comcast NBCUniversal, with 2018 Olympic gold medalists Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson and Monique Lamoureux-Morando. The identical Lamoureux twins are the newest external contributors to join the "Know Your Value" platform.

The 28-year-old Lamoureux twins were instrumental in helping the United States Women’s Ice Hockey team defeat Canada for the gold medal in the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea – the United States’ first gold in 20 years – and are six-time world champions with two previous silver medals at the 2014 and 2010 Olympics. The Lamoureux twins are also outspoken advocates for gender equity – in pay and in opportunity. Starting in 2014, the Lamoureux twins were leaders in their team’s fight for fair and equal treatment by USA Hockey, including equitable support as compared to the men’s hockey team, more funding for girls youth hockey programs, and fairer training and marketing support for women’s hockey. In March 2017, two days before the 2017 World Championships were scheduled to start in the United States, the women’s hockey team and USA Hockey were able to reach an agreement. The women went on to win the world championship.

Brzezinski will sit down with the Lamoureux twins for a wide-ranging interview about their lives, careers, and the importance of gender equity in sports and in a broader context. The interview will post on, an NBC News digital media platform that provides advice and support to women. Additionally, the three-time Olympians will participate in a quarterly series for and join Know Your Value’s lineup of speakers at conferences dedicated to empowering high-potential women in their professional and personal lives and corporate events aimed at increasing employee engagement.
