March 26, 2019 – Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, March 24, according to Nielsen Media Research, marking the show’s seventh straight win in total viewers and 60th straight win in the A25-54 demo.

Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.). 3.527 million total viewers tuned in to the Sunday program as MTP topped both ABC and CBS by double-digits: +23 percent (+656,000) more than ABC’s This Week and +15 percent (+465,000) more than CBS’ Face the Nation. This marks the broadcast’s 40th straight win over ABC in total viewers and the 17th win over CBS out of the last 18 broadcasts. MTP also increased its total viewer lead over both ABC and CBS week over week (eight percent vs. ABC, +30 percent vs. CBS) and year over year (two percent vs. ABC, +130 percent vs. CBS).

MTP also won in the demo most valued by news advertisers for its 60th straight broadcast, again topping both ABC and CBS by double-digits. 913,000 A25-54 demo viewers tuned into the Sunday program: +26 percent (+189,000) more than ABC and +25 percent (+181,000) more than CBS. This streak is longer than any other achieved in the Sunday Public Affairs category in the history of modern Nielsen ratings (since 1987). Compared to last week, MTP increased its demo viewership by seven percent (+59,000).

Season-to-date, MTP is the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board, delivering its best total viewer lead over ABC in seven years and CBS in eight years.

An additional 261,000 total viewers and 96,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through a rebroadcast on NBC.
