Tops Competition in Total Viewers for 14th Straight Broadcast

Wins Every Sunday with Total viewers in Washington for Over Four Straight Years
June 4, 2019 – Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show in total viewers this past Sunday, June 2, according to Nielsen Media Research, marking the show’s 14th straight win in total viewers.
Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with Mick Mulvaney and Beto O'Rourke and averaged 2.823 million total viewers. MTP led ABC’s This Week by nine percent (+238,000) and CBS’ Face the Nation by five percent (+142,000). This marks the broadcast’s 47th straight win over ABC in total viewers and 22nd win over CBS out of the last 23 broadcasts. 573,000 A25-54 demo viewers tuned into the Sunday program, topping CBS by nine percent (+48,000).
An additional 909,000 total viewers and 177,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
Season-to-date, MTP is the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board, delivering its best total viewer lead over ABC in seven years and CBS in eight years.
MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition combined among A25-54 viewers and winning every Sunday with total viewers for more than four straight years (since March 22, 2015).
