Stacey Abrams Will Appear Later in the Hour in Her First Joint Interview with Biden
The Virtual Town Hall Will Take Questions from Viewers
NEW YORK (May 12, 2020) – MSNBC presents a “Last Word Special: Joe Biden with Stacey Abrams.” The one-on-one event with presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will air live this Thursday, May 14 at 10 p.m. ET. Later in the hour, Stacey Abrams (D-GA) will join the virtual town hall in her first joint television interview with Biden.
The former vice president and O’Donnell will discuss the state of our nation as we head into the most important election of our time, Biden’s approach to attacking the spread of COVID-19, and whether the country can shift to all mail-in ballots amid the global coronavirus pandemic. As the founder of “Fair Fight,” a group dedicated to combating voter suppression, Abrams will address the importance of ensuring a fair election in November. Additionally, viewers will be invited to submit questions in advance of the virtual town hall.
