Network to Premiere the Singing Competition Series, “La Voz;” Extreme Sports Reality, “Exatlón Estados Unidos;” Seductive Thriller, “Jugar con Fuego;” and the New Super Series™ “El Barón”

MIAMI – Dec. 17, 2018 – Telemundo kicks off 2019 with a new prime-time programming slate under the theme “January Reloaded,” featuring the premiere of the musical competition series, “La Voz”; the return of the most extreme sports and reality survival competition, “Exatlón Estados Unidos;” the seductive thriller, “Jugar con Fuego” (Playing with Fire); and “El Barón,” Telemundo’s new action-packed Super Series™ set in the late 70’s.

January premieres include:

“La Voz” – Sunday, January 13 at 9pm/8C. For the first time ever, U.S. Hispanic audiences will get to enjoy the Spanish-language edition of NBC’s “The Voice” on Telemundo and its digital platforms. “ Hosted by renowned TV personality Jorge Bernal, the highly-anticipated musical competition series also features award-winning Latinx music megastars Luis Fonsi, Alejandra Guzmán, Wisin, and Carlos Vives as the Coaches searching and nurturing the most promising Spanish-speaking vocalists in the nation.

“Exatlón Estados Unidos” – Monday, January 21 airing Monday- Friday and Sundays from 7-9pmET/6-8pmC. The # 1 reality competition series in Spanish-language television hosted by Erasmo Provenza, returns for a new exciting season. The two-hour family show will keep viewers on the edge of their seats, as teams compete in different challenges testing their physical, mental and competitive skills.

“Jugar con Fuego”, Tuesday, January 22 at 9pm/8C. This exclusive 10-episode event tells the story of Fabrizio, an attractive and charming man, who bursts into the lives of three women, Camila and Martina - married women who are great friends - and Andrea, Martina’s daughter. His arrival from Mexico will disrupt, in a terrible and permanent way, the life of the homes in the prosperous Colombian coffee zone, and his incursion into a forbidden territory will confirm that “playing with fire” ... can bring terrible consequences.

“El Barón”Tuesday, January 29 at 10pm/9C. Telemundo’s fresh new Super Series™ set in the late 70’s follows the life of Ignacio “Nacho” Montero, a young classy criminal that is quickly drawn into the world of contraband. First, he sells cigarettes, then marijuana and eventually, thanks to his great charm and intelligence, he partners with Pablo Escobar to sell cocaine in the U.S. – the drug that revolutionized drug trafficking.
