DADDY YANKEE, PITBULL, ANUEL AA, JASON DERULO AND NE-YO JOIN THE STAR-STUDDED PERFORMERS LINEUP FOR THE “LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS” OCT. 17 ON TELEMUNDO

Piso 21, Nacho, Silvestre Dangond, Raymix, Justin Quiles, Myke Towers, El Micha, Lenier, Darell, Esteman, Greeicy Rendón, Georgel, and Banda Los Sebastianes top off the list of stars that will hit the stage at the Latin AMAs

Los Angeles, October 1st, 2019 - Telemundo announced today the final list of music stars slated to perform during the fifth edition of theLatin American Music Awards” (Latin AMAs) 2019, led by world-renowned urban artist Daddy Yankee, international star Pitbull, urban sensation Anuel AA, and internationally acclaimed American Hip-Hop singers Jason Derulo and Ne-Yo. The Awards will broadcast live on Telemundo from the prestigious Dolby Theatre on October 17 at 8pm/7c and will be preceded by the one-hour carpet pre-show “La Alfombra de Latin AMAs” at 7pm/6c. The award ceremony will also air simultaneously on Spanish-language entertainment cable network, Universo and in 20 countries throughout the Americas via Telemundo Internacional.

The “Latin AMAs” stage will also light up with performances by popular Colombian urban group Piso 21, Venezuelan star Nacho, Colombian new wave vallenato artist Silvestre Dangond, Mexican electrocumbia artist Raymix, and an impressive array of urban singers led by Puerto Ricans Justin Quiles and Myke Towers, Cubans El Micha and Lenier, Puerto Rican Darell, Colombians Esteman and Greeicy Rendón, as well as young Mexican singer-songwriter Georgel and fellow countrymen and regional music stars, Banda Los Sebastianes.

All are sure to energize the stage which will sizzle with performances by previously announced artists, including Ozuna, Farruko, Gente de Zona, Beret, Abraham Mateo, Christian Nodal, Kali Uchis, Emilia, Sofía Reyes, Lupita Infante and special feature presentations by Marc Anthony, winner of the International Artist Award of Excellence, and Becky G, winner of the special Extraordinary Evolution Award.

  • Daddy Yankee: Responsible for transforming the urban genre into a Worldwide movement. His video “Con Calma” is one of the most watched this year and “Despacito” the most watched of all time. He has four sold-out shows for December in his native Puerto Rico.
  • Pitbull: One of the biggest music celebrities in the world. The singer, producer and manager released his album Libertad 547 this year, featuring the hit “No Lo Trates.” He recently finished recording videos for “Imagínate” by Tito el Bambino, and “Tócame” by Elettra Lamborghini.
  • Anuel AA: With seven Latin AMA nominations, he is undoubtedly one of the most influential urban artists of today. He just released his song "Yes" along with Cardi B and Fat Joe and is now in the middle of his "Real Hasta la Muerte" tour.
  • Nacho: He recently released the song “F.O.K Friends” the first single on his album Uno. The new song is one of six videos portraying a story starring model Eli Tulián.
  • Piso 21: The Colombian urban group just released "Mami," in collaboration with Black Eyed Peas, and "Pa' Olvidarme de Ella" with Mexican regional singer Christian Nodal.
  • Silvestre Dangond: After his release of the album Esto Es Vida last year, the Latin Grammy Award-winning artist is in the midst of his “Entre Grandes” tour.
  • Justin Quiles: The Connecticut-born Puerto Rican recently released an explosive collaboration of the remix "DJ No Pare," featuring Natti Natasha, Farruko, Zion, Dalex and Lenny Tavarez.
  • Raymix: With one Billboard Award and one Latin AMA 2018 thanks to his hit “Oye Mujer,” the young Mexican artist has rejuvenated electrocumbia and boasts over 900 million views on YouTube.
  • Jason Derulo: The American singer, songwriter and dancer has just contributed his hit “Champion” to the Basketball World Cup in China and is one of the faces of the new film “Cats.” This year he also released the hits “Mamacita” with Farruko and “Too hot.”
  • Ne-Yo: The American R&B and Pop singer just completed the international release of his latest album titled Good Man.
  • El Micha: The Cuban reggaeton star just produced his latest album TBT Remix along with Cosculluela with the hit song “El Millón.”
  • Lenier: Cuban reggaeton artist just announced a new recording alongside Ivy Queen, following his hit "Me Extrañarás," with Salvadorian Alvaro Torres.
  • Esteman: The young alternative music singer, who was nominated to a Latin Grammy back in 2016 for Best New Artist, just released a festive version of "El Noa Noa" together with Mexican artist, Georgel.
  • Greeicy Rendón: The young Colombian singer released Baila, her first studio recording with 12 urban-pop rhythm songs including duos with artists like Anitta and Nacho.
  • Georgel: The Mexican artist just released a version of Juan Gabriel's classic "Noa Noa" alongside Esteman, as a festive tribute to the Latin American music icon.
  • Darell: Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Darell is planning to release a couple of albums soon, titled Everybody Go to the Discotek and The Real Rondon, and just recorded the hit “No Soy Yo” with Emilia Mernes.
  • Myke Towers: The Puerto Rican urban performer was just featured on Becky G's new single, "Dollar." His hit “La playa” has already garnered over 120 million views on YouTube.
  • Banda Los Sebastianes: One of the fastest growing groups in the Regional Mexican genre. Their song “A Través del Vaso” put them in the spotlight and is nominated for a Latin AMAs this year in the Favorite Song category.
