Ten years after leading the pop world with multiple hit songs, multi award winning group Bacilos reunites, releasing their much awaited new single “Por Hacerme el Bueno.” After a successful period with chart-topping group Fifth Harmony, singer Camila Cabello recently released "Crying in the Club" as the lead single from her forthcoming debut solo album “The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving,” and is currently hot on the charts with her latest “Havana.” Chayanne is recognized throughout Latin America as a pop music icon, whose success is solidified through his sold-out concerts worldwide and complemented by the longest and most complete touring schedule in this music genre. American singer, songwriter, and author Chiquis Rivera is the eldest daughter of the late Banda legend Jenni Rivera. Her style crosses Regional Mexican genres and modern pop as seen in her latest single “Vas a Volver.” As one of the most prolific singers of urban Latin music, Wisin continues to churn out hit singles and collaborations with top artists. His most recent, a surprise reunion with former group companion Yandel with "Como Antes," reached #1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart.
The 2017 “Latin AMA’s” will also feature performances by Abraham Mateo, Alejandra Guzman, Angeles, Banda MS, Chris Brown, Bad Bunny, Christian Nodal, Fifth Harmony, Gente de Zona, Gloria Trevi, Jesse & Joy, Manuel Medrano, Natalia Jimenez, Pablo Alboran, Pitbull, Prince Royce and Spiff TV.
The “Latin AMAs” honors artists in the genres of Pop/Rock, Regional Mexican, Urban, and Tropical, as well as categories for Favorite Crossover Artist, Favorite Collaboration, New Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, among others. The “Latin AMAs” nominees are based on key fan interactions with music, including (but not limited to) sales, airplay, streaming and social activity tracked by Billboard through its data partners Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound.
