ON “EXATLON ESTADOS UNIDOS” PREMIERE NIGHT, TELEMUNDO RANKS AS THE #1 SPANISH-LANGUAGE NETWORK DURING 7-11PM PRIMETIME AMONG ALL KEY DEMOS

During 8-11pm Primetime, Telemundo Outperformed the Combined Delivery of Univision and UniMas Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34; the Network Also Ranked as the #3 Broadcast Network, Regardless of Language Among Adults 18-49, Behind NBC and ABC

Locally, Telemundo Ranked as the #1 Broadcast Network, Regardless of Language, in the Top Hispanic Market, Los Angeles, During 7pm-11pm Primetime

MIAMI, July 17, 2018 – On the evening of the “Exatlon Estados Unidos” premiere, Telemundo ranked as the #1 Spanish-language network during 7-11pm primetime last night among total viewers (1,272,000), adults 18-49 (683,000) and 18-34 (325,000), according to Nielsen.

  • At 8pm/7c, the second hour of the premiere of new sports reality competition “Exatlon Estados Unidos” outperformed Univision’s “El Rico y Lazaro” by +9% among adults 18-49 (546,000 vs. 503,000) and +43% among adults 18-34 (247,000 vs. 173,000).
  • At 9pm/8c, “Sin Senos Si Hay Paraiso” ranked as the #1 Spanish-language program in its time slot, among all total viewers (1,382,000), adults 18-49 (806,000) and adults 18-34 (401,000), and outperformed CBS and Fox among adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
  • At 10pm/9c, Super Series™ “El Señor de los Cielos” ranked as the #1 Spanish-language program in primetime among all key demos, and ranked as the #1 broadcast program, regardless of language in its daypart, among adults 18-34; it also outperformed ABC and CBS, among adults 18-49.

Telemundo also outperformed the combined delivery of Univision and UniMas by +14% among adults 18-49 (773k vs. 679k), and +44% among adults 18-34 (378k vs. 263k), during 8-11pm primetime. It also ranked as the #3 broadcast network, regardless of language, among adults 18-49, behind NBC and ABC.

Locally, Telemundo ranked as the #1 broadcast network, regardless of language, for 7-11pm in Los Angeles and Miami among adults 18-49. In addition, it also ranked as the #1 Spanish-language network for 7-11pm in New York, Phoenix, Sacramento, Orlando, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Tampa, and Boston, among adults 18-49.
