“DIANA, 7 DIAS,” “GRAN OPORTUNIDAD” AND “DON FRANCISCO TE INVITA” THIS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 STARTING AT 7PM/6C ON TELEMUNDO

The Evening Kicks Off with a Remarkable Documentary That Captures the Tumultuous Week Following the Death of Princess Diana, Followed by New Episodes of “Gran Oportunidad,” and “Don Francisco Te Invita”

MIAMI – August 30, 2017 – Family Sundays continue on Telemundo this Sunday, September 3, starting at 7pm/6c with the following lineup:

“Diana, 7 Días” (7pm/6c), presents the inside story of the tumultuous and unprecedented week that followed the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, and how she came to have such an extraordinary effect on people around the world. In-depth interviews with Diana’s sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, reveal intimate details about their relationships and reactions, from the moment they heard the news of their mother’s death to the day of the funeral itself. The film also includes interviews with family members, close friends, political figures and journalists, many of them speaking for the first time about the events of that week.

“Gran Oportunidad” (9pm/8c), presents another spectacular night of talent competition with new contestants ready to face judges Alicia Machado, Roberto Tapia, Alexis Valdes and Noel Torres, and the unpredictable "Eliminator" with its "Malicious Machine" to eliminate those who fail to overcome the 90 seconds on stage. In this sixth episode, hosts Raul Gonzalez and Ana Lorena Sanchez will welcome a Mexican man ready to demonstrate his imitation of popular singer Marco Antonio Solís and another who will sing "Cucurrucucu Paloma," in addition to a couple who are expert dancers of Quebradita. The Sunday night competition will also feature a Dominican New Yorker who sings like Marc Anthony; a Spaniard with a special talent in popping and beatbox ready to captivate the judges; a Spanish ventriloquist who will demonstrate her unique talent on stage; a Cuban man from Brussels who will juggle balls at the rhythm of Chayanne’s hit song "Torero," and a comedian who traveled from Colombia in search of a grand opportunity.

“Don Francisco Te Invita" (10pm/9c), will feature a great night of guests including the visit of Gerardo Ortiz, one of the most popular singers of Regional Mexican music, talking about his controversial corridos and issues in Mexico around some of his songs and videos. Host Don Francisco, alongside Jessica Carrillo, will welcome actor Gregorio Pernia, better known as the famous "El Titi" from the hit series "Sin Senos Si Hay Paraíso," who will have no problem removing his shirt and challenging Don Francisco to do the same. The sexy actor will share secrets of his difficult childhood, his involvement in politics in his native Colombia, and he will be surprised by his beautiful family. The show also brings 19-year-old Francisco Duarte from San Diego, who is currently in charge of his three siblings after his parents were detained by the U.S. Immigration Department, and in danger of being deported. Also, the shocking story of Mark Lane will be presented, also from San Diego, who is married to an undocumented Mexican and helps immigrants and families like Francisco Duarte. Joining the guests will be the Mexican band "Voz de Mando" performing "Soldado Latinoamericano" dedicated to those Hispanics who fight for this country and who are discriminated.
