‘THE TONIGHT SHOW’ ORIGINAL EPISODES TIE FOR #1 IN 18-49 FOR WEEK OF JULY 15-19

At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night” Delivers the Week in 18-49, Leads the Season Over “Late Late Show” & “Nightline” in Every Key Measure

NEW YORK — July 23, 2019 — Original telecasts of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” tied “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in 18-49 and won many other demos for the week of July 15-19, according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

“Tonight’s” 0.33 rating in adults 18-49 was based on original telecasts July 15-18, head to versus “The Late Show.” Against “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “The Tonight Show” won in both 18-49, total viewers and all key demos.

Last week at 12:35 a.m. ET, “Late Night with Seth Meyers” topped CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” rebroadcasts in adults 18-49 by a +40% margin (with a 0.21 rating vs. a 0.15). Season to date, Meyers also leads both “Late Late Show” and ABC’s “Nightline” in “most current” averages in every key ratings category.
