Mark Kornblau serves as Executive Vice President, Communications for the NBCUniversal News Group and reports directly to Cesar Conde, Chairman, NBCUniversal News Group.
Kornblau oversees the communications strategy for the NBCUniversal News Group, partnering with the communicators and business leads at NBC News and MSNBC. Kornblau is responsible for positioning NBC News and MSNBC as premier multi-platform news and information leaders and innovators in the rapidly-changing media landscape.
Most recently, Kornblau was Managing Director of Corporate Communications for JPMorgan Chase, where he worked with the executive leadership team on strategic communications and oversaw media relations in support of the firm’s government relations and corporate responsibility efforts.
Previously, Kornblau served as Communications Director and Spokesman for Ambassador Susan Rice at the United States Mission to the United Nations. He has served in senior communications roles on two U.S. presidential campaigns, on Capitol Hill and on U.S. House and Senate campaigns. He was also Vice President of Corporate Communications at Zagat Survey.
Kornblau received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He resides in New York City with his wife and two daughters.
