Dani Weinstein has over 20 years’ experience in the entertainment industry. Leadership, creativity, and drive characterized her achievements at The Weinstein Company (TWC), where she became President of Publicity, on dozens of movie campaigns.
Among the Oscar winners that Weinstein worked on at TWC were Tom Hooper’s “The King’s Speech,” Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds” and “Django Unchained,” Morten Tyldum’s “The Imitation Game,” Stephen Daldry’s “The Reader,” Woody Allen’s “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” and David O. Russell’s “Silver Linings Playbook.”
Weinstein oversaw campaigns on many other lauded movies including Ryan Coogler’s “Fruitvale Station,” Todd Haynes’ “Carol,” “Lee Daniels’ The Butler,” Michael Moore’s “Sicko;” and, at Miramax Films, Martin Scorsese’s “Gangs of New York” and “The Aviator.”
Before segueing to film publicity, Weinstein began her career as an agent at Don Buchwald & Associates in the Broadcast Department.
