TELEMUNDO 47 NEWS ANCHOR JORGE RAMOS HONORED BY THE NY EMMYS FOR MORE THAN 35 YEARS OF DISTINGUISHED EXCELLENCE IN BROADCAST JOURNALISM

FORT LEE, NJ – (January 9, 2017) – Recognizing more than 35 years of journalistic excellence and service to the Tri-State’s Spanish-speaking neighborhoods and communities, Telemundo 47’s lead news anchor Jorge Ramos was inducted into the Silver Circle of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), New York Chapter. 

“Being honored by the NATAS New York Chapter and joining a group of outstanding industry professionals is incredibly humbling,” said Ramos. “It was wonderful to be joined by my family and friends, and I gladly share this recognition with my colleagues, whom I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside with for the past 35 years at my second home, Telemundo 47.”

Ramos was joined by his family, colleagues and peers at a special luncheon on December 1, where he was inducted by Chuck Scarborough, lead anchor for NBC 4 New York / WNBC.
