“Rogue One” star Felicity Jones Hosts With Musical Guest Sturgill Simpson Followed a Week Later by “Master of None” star Aziz Ansari With Musical Guest Big Sean
NEW YORK — Jan. 10, 2017 — Oscar- and Golden Globe-nominated actress Felicity Jones, currently seen in the box office smash “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and the critical hit “A Monster Calls,” will make her “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut on Jan. 14.
Sturgill Simpson will make his musical guest debut. Simpson’s third studio album, “A Sailor’s Guide to Earth,” was released last year to critical acclaim garnering him a 2017 Grammy Award nomination for Album of the Year.
On Jan. 21 the Emmy Award-winning and Golden Globe-nominated Aziz Ansari will host for his first time. Ansari stars in the critically acclaimed Netflix series "Master of None," which will return later this year. Big Sean will make his musical guest debut. His upcoming album, "I Decided.," is set for release on Feb. 3. Sean's last studio album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
