The Ryder Cup, contested biennially between the United States and Europe, is known for its intense pressure, unique team format and dramatic finishes. The rivalry between the U.S. and Europe was re-ignited on European soil in 2006 as the U.S. looked to avenge the worst loss in the 77 year-history of the event, 18-9 to Europe in 2004 at the Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Township, Mich. In 2008, the event was held in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dan Hicks and Johnny Miller will anchor NBC Sports' Emmy Award-winning golf coverage.
