ORLANDO, Fla., (Nov. 6, 2012) – Golf Channel will air live, four-round coverage of the dramatics surrounding golfers playing to retain their PGA TOUR status with a finish good enough to place them among the top-125 money leaders this week at the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic.
The European Tour is heading into its final stretch for the 2012 season, with World No. 1 Rory McIlroy headlining a strong international field in Singapore at the Barclays Singapore Open. McIlroy looks to extend his Race to Dubai points lead this week, attempting to follow in Luke Donald’s footsteps by becoming just the second player in history to win the European Tour and the PGA TOUR Money Lists in the same season. Golf Channel will air live, four-round coverage Wednesday-Saturday nights, with replays the following day.

- Final PGA TOUR Event for 2012 PGA TOUR Season – The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic is the final event of the 2012 PGA TOUR season and the last opportunity for players to finish within the top-125 on the PGA TOUR Money List and retain their full membership status for 2013. Players “inside the bubble” include multiple PGA TOUR winners Boo Weekley (121), Jeff Maggert (122) and Billy Mayfair (125). Players just “outside the bubble” include 2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman (126), PGA TOUR rookie Gary Christian (127) and second-year PGA TOUR member Alex Rocha (128).
- Chandler Fullman Featured During Friday’s Broadcast – Friday’s tournament coverage will feature 17-year-old Chandler Fullman, special ambassador and “Miracle Child” for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic, visiting with Golf Channel’s Whit Watson to discuss his experience this week at Disney.
- Headlining the Field – The field includes Robert Garrigus, Chris Kirk, Charles Howell III, Brendon de Jonge, Tommy Gainey, Davis Love III, Greg Owen, Ken Duke, John Mallinger and Harris English.
