Golf has hundreds of compelling and entertaining stories just waiting to be told about the sport and the characters that inhabit it, however remotely connected to the game. "In Play with Jimmy Roberts" is a new, half-hour series that travels the globe to share these great stories each month. Host Jimmy Roberts has made a professional living out of telling such stories in sports. A 13-time Emmy Award winner for ESPN and NBC, Roberts and a team of Golf Channel correspondents, including Rich Lerner and Kelly Tilghman, focus their attention on finding the great stories in golf and reporting their findings to Golf Channel viewers.
Each month, "In Play with Jimmy Roberts" seeks and celebrates great storytelling, analyzes breaking news, clarifies hot issues in golf and provides in-depth profiles of the golfers and personalities that impact the game.
The show is produced by Golf Channel. Molly Solomon is the executive producer.
