MIAMI - July 25, 2012 – Telemundo announced the nominees to the first-ever Premios Tu Mundo (Your World Awards), an original star-studded awards special to be broadcast live on Thursday, August 30, 8PM-11PM/ET, from the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theatre in Miami, Florida. Celebrating the best in pop culture, Premios Tu Mundo will announce winners in 25 competing categories, including: The Perfect Couple, The Best Bad Boy, I’m Sexy and I Know It, #MostSocial, Favorite Viral Video and Favorite Latino in Hollywood, among others. Nominees include top Latino music stars Pitbull, Don Omar, Jenni Rivera, Ricky Martin and Prince Royce; novela stars Jencalros Canela and Kate del Castillo; top Latino stars in Hollywood such as Sofia Vergara and Jennifer Lopez; top model Gisele Bündchen and top tennis player Rafael Nadal, among many others. Premios Tu Mundo is a celebration of pop culture, a musical spectacular event that combines the power of television, web, mobile and social media platforms to give fans the final say in what’s hot in everything that moves and inspires them: novelas, music, fashion, movies and sports.
