Miami -October 8, 2012. Deportes Telemundo presents the FIFA World Cup qualifying match between Guyana and México live, coast to coast, on Friday, October 12 at 8 pm ET, 7 pm CT, 5 pm PT. The game will take place at the BBVA Compass Stadium of Houston, Texas and will be called by legendary sportscaster Andrés Cantor together with renowned soccer presenter Sammy Sadovnik. Deportes Telemundo also will feature a pregame show with special reports, interviews and expert commentary and analysis.
Mexico’s coach, José Manuel de la Torre announced a line-up featuring young players like Carlos Peña from Club León, Hector Herrera from Pachuca, Diego Reyes from America and Jorge Enríquez from Chivas. The Mexican team has consolidated its position as the CONCACAF giant after winning the Copa de Oro, the Gold Medal in the Pan American games and, most recently, the Gold Medal in London 2012. The team is currently leading the CONCACAF Group B with 12 points.
