Jace Alexander

Jace Alexander directed the pilot episode of the series "Warehouse 13," where he is co-executive producer. He also directed the pilot episode for the new USA series "Royal Pains," which he will co-executive produce. Later this year Alexander will helm the MGM/UA feature film "Colors: Day One."
Alexander directed the first four seasons of the acclaimed television series, "Rescue Me," and the pilot for the hit USA series, "Burn Notice."" His film "Carry Me Home," starring Penelope Ann Miller and Kevin Anderson, currently airs on Showtime. He directed the television movie "Jennifer" for CBS, which starred Laura San Giacomo, Jane Kaczmarek, Marisa Tomei, Julianna Marguiles, Camryn Manheim and Edie Falco. Alexander has directed over 85 episodes of prime time television; including, "House M.D.," "Prison Break," "Canterbury's Law," "Lipstick Jungle," "Kidnapped," "Love Monkey," "Six Degrees," "The Practice," "Ally McBeal," "Homicide," "Early Edition," the Disney shows "Lizzie McGuire" and "Phil of the Future," "Xena: Warrior Princess," "Third Watch," "New York Undercover," 12 seasons of "Law & Order," and the upcoming "9/11 Kevin."
A co-founder of the Naked Angels theater company, Alexander has directed over 25 new full length and one-act plays with the company by writers including Warren Leight, Craig Lucas, Theresa Rebeck, Jeffery Sweet and Frank Pugliese. Off-Broadway he directed the long running hit, "Snakebit," by David Marshall Grant, as well as the musical, "Once Around the Sun." In Los Angeles, Alexander directed Jon Robin Baitz's "A Fair Country" for National Public Radio. At Ensemble Studio Theater, he directed Laura Cahill's "Home," and has mounted new plays at theaters including the West Bank Cafe, Los Angeles' Coast Theater and at the Mark Taper Forum's New Works Series.
Alexander has acted both on and off-Broadway, and in film and television. He attended NYU and the American Film Institute. He is married to actress Maddie Corman and has three children, Isabelle (9), Mac and Finn (both 5).
