Returning for its fifth and final season, "Eureka" is currently Syfy's longest-running scripted series.  Thirteen all-new episodes culminate with an exciting series conclusion that will complete the journey of the residents of the unique little town of Eureka.

"Eureka" stars Colin Ferguson (Sheriff Jack Carter) Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Allison Blake), Joe Morton (Henry Deacon), Erica Cerra (Jo Lupo), Neil Grayston (Douglas Fargo) and Niall Matter (Zane Donovan). 

As the thrilling final season kicks off, the town is reeling after the Astraeus and her crew mysteriously vanished just before their planned launch to Titan.  When they finally crash-land, Allison and the crewmembers are shocked to find themselves back in Eureka – and that they've been missing for four years.  As the town copes with the shocking personal changes that have happened during their long absence, Sheriff Carter (Ferguson) and Henry (Morton) try to uncover the truth about the forces behind the crew's bizarre disappearance -- with deadly results.

Eureka seems like any other cozy, Pacific Northwest town, but is actually a secret community of geniuses assembled by the government to conduct top-secret research. What they've unwittingly created is a place where anything imaginable can happen -- and does.

Returning for the final season are popular guest stars Wil Wheaton ("The Big Bang Theory," "Star Trek: The Next Generation") as the contentious Dr. Parrish; Felicia Day ("The Guild," "Red") as Dr. Holly Marten; and Ming Na ("Stargate Universe," "ER") as Senator Michaela Wen.

"Eureka" premiered on July 18, 2006 and quickly became one of Syfy's most popular scripted series, with smart storytelling that easily blended comedy with drama.  The series has generated numerous accolades, including an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Visual Effects for a Series and the Leo Award for Best Visual Effects in a Dramatic Series.  Star Richardson-Whitfield captured a NAACP Image Award nomination in 2011 for Best Actress in a Comedy Series as did fellow cast member Morton for Best Director of a Comedy Series.
