BLIGE, MICHAEL BUBLE AND ROB THOMAS TO PREPARE THEIR ARTISTS FOR BATTLE – IN A NEW TWIST, EACH COACH HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO STEAL ARTISTS WHO ARE ELIMINATED FROM OPPOSING TEAMS – The "battle rounds" continue and the coaches enlist the help of the music industry’s top recording artists to offer their knowledge and skill as advisers. Christina Aguilera teams up with Billie Joe Armstrong, Adam Levine with Mary J. Blige, CeeLo Green with Rob Thomas, and Blake Shelton with Michael Buble. In this phase the coaches pit two of their own team members against each other in a dueling duet. After the vocal face-off, each coach must choose which artist from their team is the strongest and in a new twist, also has the option of stealing losing artists from an opposing coach. Each coach has two steals during the battle rounds where their artists will proceed to the new knockout rounds. Carson Daly ("Last Call with Carson Daly") hosts. Christina Milian ("Be Cool") serves as Social Media Correspondent.

In the series' landmark 300th episode, a young boy from Morningside Heights is kidnapped while in the care of his father, and the investigation reminds Captain Cragen (Dann Florek,) Sergeant Munch (Richard Belzer) and Detective Benson (Mariska Hargitay) of an unsolved kidnapping that occurred in the same neighborhood thirteen years ago. While the entire squad races against the clock to find the missing boy, Benson vows to learn from past mistakes to set both cases right. Also starring Ice-T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Danny Pino (Detective Nick Amaro) and Kelli Giddish (Detective Amanda Rollins.) Facing pressure and subsequent threats from the powerful and well-connected Detective Voight (guest star Jason Beghe), Casey decides to tell the truth, inviting a stand-off. Additionally, Severide (Taylor Kinney), who’s fighting off the advances of the Chief’s new assistant (guest star Meghann Fehy), learns he has a fractured vertebra in his neck that may never heal if he doesn’t get treated, but ignores the doctor’s advice so he can continue working.
