Willie Geist starts off the day's news with his morning show, "Way Too Early," which airs from 5:30-6 a.m. ET. From 6-9 a.m. (ET), Joe Scarborough hosts "Morning Joe," with co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist, featuring interviews with top politicians and newsmakers, as well as in-depth analysis of the day's biggest stories. White House correspondent Chuck Todd picks up MSNBC's political coverage with his show, 'The Daily Rundown' weekdays from 9-10 a.m. (ET), with discussions and analysis of the day's biggest political stories. Veteran MSNBC anchor Chris Jansing picks up live news coverage on her program, “Jansing & Co.,” from 10-11 a.m. (ET), followed by “MSNBC Live with Thomas Roberts” at 11 a.m. (ET). MSNBC’s newest dayside anchor, Alex Wagner, hosts “NOW” at 12 noon (ET).
MSNBC’s extensive dayside team, including Craig Melvin, Veronica De La Cruz, Richard Lui, Alex Witt, and others continue coverage through the noon hour, bringing up-to-the-minute updates on the day’s biggest headlines. NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell picks up coverage from 1-2 p.m. (ET), providing in-depth, exclusive interviews and analysis of the latest stories during her show, "Andrea Mitchell Reports." Tamron Hall hosts “NewsNation” from 2-3 p.m. (ET), followed by “Martin Bashir” from 3-4 p.m. (ET). At 4 p.m., Dylan Ratigan discusses important economic, political and social issues facing Americans on "The Dylan Ratigan Show" from 4-5 pm (ET).
"PoliticsNation" with Rev. Al Sharpton kicks off the primetime lineup at 6 p.m. (ET). MSNBC's highly acclaimed political program, "Hardball with Chris Matthews," airs from 7-8 p.m. (ET). "The Ed Show" hosted by progressive radio talker Ed Schultz follows at 8 p.m. (ET). The critically acclaimed "Rachel Maddow Show" airs from 9-10 p.m. (ET), giving viewers the popular host's unique take on the day’s events (the program re-airs nightly at 12 a.m. ET). "The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell" closes out the evening’s live news coverage from 10-11 p.m. (ET).
On weekends, MSNBC telecasts continuing live news coverage as well as long-form documentaries, including "MSNBC Investigates," "MSNBC Reports," and "Headliners & Legends." JJ Ramberg hosts MSNBC's weekly small business program featuring profiles of small business owners, business headlines, and the 'Small Biz Top Five', Sundays at 7:30 a.m. (ET) with re-airs on Saturdays at 5:30 a.m. (ET). "Up w/Chris Hayes" has joined the weekend lineup airing on Saturday from 7-9 a.m. (ET) and on Sunday from 8-10 a.m. (ET). “Weekends with Alex Witt” follows “Up,” airing Saturdays from 9 a.m. – noon (ET), and Sundays from 10 a.m. to noon (ET).
Acclaimed by conservatives and liberals, newsmakers and television critics, "Meet the Press" consistently makes Monday morning headlines with its high-profile guests. David Gregory moderates. Sundays at 2p.m. (ET), with re-airs at 2 a.m. (ET) and 4 a.m. (ET).
