NEW YORK - July 9, 2012 – NBC 4 New York took home three PromaxBDA awards this year for outstanding promotion, marketing and design. PromaxBDA is a membership-driven association for promotion and marketing professionals in broadcast media representing every broadcast and cable television group, radio, promotion and advertising agencies, among other media corporations.

The second annual PromaxBDALocal Awards took place in late June at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas where local stations were honored for most outstanding promotion, marketing and design work in local broadcasting. NBC New York’s creative team, Missy Crawford, David Hyman, Matt Boline, Ingrid Taveras, Phyllis Ohnemus, Jonathan Zelenak, Ken Shaw, and DeAndra Hayes won three PromaxBDALocal Awards in the following categories:

· GOLD: Editing: Television/Video Presentation for Winter Weather

· SILVER: Marketing Video/Presentation: External for We Are New York

· BRONZE: Editing: Television/Video Presentation for Open House Sizzle 2011

Every year, PromaxBDA hosts the world’s largest entertainment marketing, promotion and design conference attracting industry leaders from top television networks, local stations and media agencies. For four days, the PromaxBDA Station Summit gathers media and marketing professionals through sessions, panels, exhibits and networking events.

Station general managers and local marketing, promotion and creative service executives participate in presentations and discussions on creative innovations and strategies for new and returning shows. The summit capped off with the PromaxBDALocal Awards, hosted by Monica Jackson, co-anchor of Fox 5 News Live in Las Vegas and co-host of MORE, KVVU-TV.
