It’s time to lay down the law with "The Steve Wilkos Show" as it returns for it seventh season.
In this one-hour nationally syndicated talk show, Wilkos,a 6-foot 3-inch, former U.S. Marine, andChicago police officer helps people stand up for themselves and dishes out help to people from all walks of life.

Over the past six seasons, Wilkos has helped authorities take pedophiles off the streets, has given dozens of women the courage to walk away from abusive relationships and has coached teens against the dangers of drugs and alcohol. He uses tough love to approach a wide range of issues such as domestic violence, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, child endangerment, gang affiliation, and racism, among others.
It is Wilkos’ mission to help victims reach their full potential. He goes above and beyond the role of compassionate talk show host by providing people with the tools and building blocks to help them get their lives back on track. He delivers his advice with a no-nonsense attitude, a sense of discipline and a code of honor that he ascertained from his almost 20 years of experience in the military and police force.
"I believe the moral code I was taught during my marine training, the street smarts I picked up as a police officer and the patience and compassion I've developed from becoming a father, has prepared me to help my guests get through the hard times they face," says Wilkos. For the 2012/13 season, “The Steve Wilkos Show” is averaging 2 million daily viewers with almost 50% of his audience deriving from the advertiser friendly Adults 25-54 demographic. The sixth season of “The Steve Wilkos Show” has become its highest rated season with ratings increases of +15% among Households and +11% among Women 25-54 versus the prior season. As a result, “The Steve Wilkos Show” had the most year-to-year growth amongst all syndicated talk shows. This is not a new trend as “The Steve Wilkos Show” has seen yearly ratings increase. Since its premiere season of 2007-08, the show has delivered +67% Households and +67% Women 25-54 growth.
"The Steve Wilkos Show" is taped in front of a live studio audience in Stamford, Conn. The show is distributed in national syndication by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Rachelle Wilkos serves the show’s executive producer and Selina Santos serves as co-executive producer.
