Argentino was named Senior Vice President of Advertising and Media Sales for NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution in January 2006, and she currently oversees one of the largest ad inventories in all of syndication, including the syndication ad sales for such top NBC series as "The Office," "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit," "Law and Order: Criminal Intent, "House" and much more. Argentino's team also manages NBCU's advertiser sales on nearly a dozen first-run syndicated series, including "Access Hollywood," "Deal or No Deal," "The Chris Matthews Show," and "Maury."
Since 2000, Argentino had led ad sales for Sony Pictures Television. During that time, she oversaw all first-run and off-network ad sales for the division, including such series as "Judge Hatchett," "King of Queens" and "Seinfeld." She also headed up Sony's "Advertiser Solutions" initiative as well as managed the Sony Solutions Group, a cross-division advertiser sales unit which included online, TV, theatrical, music and other Sony entities.
Argentino served in several different capacities in ad sales at Sony Pictures Television from 1994-2000, including Senior Vice President, Advertiser Sales, from 1998-2000. In this position, she led a team that won Direct TV's ad sales business, while overseeing Sony's New York-based ad sales unit, which included the Game Show Network.
Previously, Argentino was an account executive at NBC from 1992-1994 and also worked in national broadcast divisions for LBS Communications, Grey Advertising and CBS. She holds a B.S. in political science from the University of Connecticut and currently resides in Westchester, New York, with her husband and their three children.
