NEW YORK – August 28, 2014 –NBC’s TODAY and Telemundo are teaming up for “Viva TODAY,” a special series to air before the start of National Hispanic Heritage month. All next week, beginning Monday, September 1, TODAY will celebrate the rich and diverse Hispanic culture. From food and fashion to entertainment and style, “Viva Today” will highlight the positive impact Hispanic and Latino Americans have had on society.
Throughout the week, TODAY will feature guest co-hosts including Telemundo’s María Celeste Arrarás and Jorge Bernal, MSNBC’s and Telemundo’s News Anchor Jose Diaz Balart, as well as other special appearances by Chef James, Celebrity Restaurateur Ingrid Hoffmann, Meteorologist Irene Sans, and top novela heart-throbs Rafael Amaya, Eugenio Siller and Aaron Diaz. TODAY will also liven up Rockefeller Plaza with Latin-themed dance classes and performances.
